This is the story of Buck. He is a very strong

Miller. But one day he is stolen by the gardener and sold to Francois and
Perrault. People who are looking for gold in the cold north need dogs to pull
sleds. Buck is beaten and travels in a train.
He has to learn to become a sleds dog in
Canada. It is very difficult for him. It is very hard for him because he never
had to do that in the past. And some dogs are very wild and they are most
aggressive. But Buck is strong and he learns fast. Spitz the leader of the dog
hates him and wants to kill him.
on his journey Buck is going to learn how to
sleep in the snow, he is going to be sold twice to not very nice people and he
will be saved by John Thornton. Buck and Thornton are going to love each other
and Buck will be happy again.
But Buck also has strange dreams about his
ancestors and a strange man.(he has never seen a man like that).He is going to
meet wild Yeehat Indians, and meet wolves… What will happen to him? to them?I
can’t tell you all the story ! You have to read the book if you want to know
the end !...
Personal opinion:
What I enjoyed about the book :I have really
loved when Buck fights with the Huskies, with Spitz and with the Indians. I
liked Buck because he is a very good dog and it is an incredible adventure.I
would recommend this book to readers who like dog, fights and adventure and
also to see the hard life in Canada, in 1978, in the wild. But it is a good
story but it is a little sad...
