¨LIFE OF PI¨ written by Yann Martel

 It´s a strong-emotion book, it´s very interesting and it was hard to stop reading.

The main character is Piscine Molitor Patel (Piscine Molitor was a swimming pool in France that his uncle Mamaji loved because the water of the pool was crystalline and warm) who used to live in India but when he tells his story he is living in Canada. When he was a child he lived in a zoo with his brother, mother and father . He practiced three religions, he was a Muslim, a Christian and a Hindu. He moved to Canada because his father wanted to escape from India. They left on a Japanese ship which sank in the Pacific Ocean and only Pi, a 16 year-old Indian, a zebra , a hyena, an orang-utan and a 450-pound Royal Bengal  tiger ended up on a life boat . Will they survive?
