Around the World in 80 days

Author : This book was written by Jules Vernes. And it was published by the Penguin Readers collection. The book contains 114 pages and it is easy to read because it is written in big print.

Summary : The story revolves around the life of Phileas Fogg who lives in London. He bets that he can travel around the world in 80 days. It is a crazy and exciting race against time across Europe, Asia, and America. He faces many dangerous trials along his journey, and to add on to this there is a detective/policeman who will chase him and try to arrest him. The question is, is Phileas Fogg going to win his bet ?

Opinion : It is a good idea to make this type of bet, if you are sure to win, if not don’t do it. I like this book because it shows us that you should never give up what you really want to do. If you let go of your dreams, you will probably regret it in the long run! I love the adventure and the constant thrills that this book brings. It was hard for me to put it down !
